Jessica ‘s gorgeous smile and Tien’s sweet tears made their Greenhouse Loft wedding so special.
Getting ready at the Eurostars Magnificent Mile Hotel, the happy tears started early on their wedding day. As Jessica read Tien’s sweet letter to her and opened her gift from Tiffany’s. What bride doesn’t love seeing the signature teal color bag, with the promise of jewelry!
“When you meet her, always a smile. She doesn’t give you the money, she gives you the big smile.”
Jessica + Tien wanted to keep it tradition and didn’t see each other until their Holy Name Cathedral wedding ceremony. But in a non-traditional kiss twist, they snuck in a quick smooch after Jessica walked down the aisle.
Their ceremony was so beautifully sweet, with a lot of laughter and tears. Their family priest flew in from Texas to perform the ceremony. Since he knew them pretty well, there was such an intimacy as he married them. At one point, Tien couldn’t stop the tears, but found himself without a tissue. His dutiful best man ran up to the alter with a box of kleenex for him.
“Like any great love story, this one began with beating hearts and sleepless nights. It’s the story of commitment to each other. And like any great love story, there were struggles and growth together. But it was love at first sight. This obviously, as you know, is the story of Tien and his bike.”
Guests sipped cocktails on the terrace at their Greenhouse Loft Wedding. Sweet and hilarious toasters cheered the happy couple before their traditional tea ceremony. Jessica wore a stunning red Chinese dress for the sentimental ceremony. Their parents and Tien’s grandmother sipped tea and gave gifts as a symbolic gesture of passing on the love and responsibility to the next generation.
