Flori + Jon’s Armour House wedding at had all the elements of a fairy tale wedding.
Decked out in matching purple robes, Flori got ready in the bridal suite with her bride crew. Mimosa’s were flowing and excited laughter filled the room. Meanwhile, Jon got ready at his home watching the world cup.
It was a steamy hot June day as Flori slipped into her elegant wedding dress with her Mom dutifully helping. Once she had her long cathedral veil in place, it was time for the big reveal with her bridesmaids. Walking down the grand staircase, Flori was met with excited squeals and some tears of joy. Then it was time for an emotional first look with her Dad. Overcome with joy, he was left speechless seeing his beautiful daughter about to be married.
Waiting for them outside of the Armour house was a classic white Rolls Royce car. She rode with her parents and sister to the nearby Church of St. Mary. Violins played as the wedding party walked down the aisle. Flori had played violin and I found out later that the violins were a tribute to her Grandpa.
Jon did a pretty good job of holding in the tears, but the look of love in his eyes couldn’t be masked.
He and Flori exchanged looks and some laughter during the ceremony and finally they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. After some family photos, Flori + Jon made their exit to the waiting Rolls Royce through a sea of bubbles. The champagne was popped and it was time to celebrate!
Flori is originally from Argentina, so many of her guests had made a long journey for the wedding. Guests huddled around the air conditioners as they sipped cold cocktails.
Her Dad gave an absolutely beautiful toast to his daughter, but it was Flori’s sister who stole the show. As soon as she started to talk, emotion overcame her and she couldn’t hold back the tears. Even a decade apart, the two sisters are obviously very close.
After two sparkler exits and Jon’s elderly grandpa getting down on the dance floor, I don’t think the wedding could have gotten any better!
