Bridgeport Art Center Wedding Indian Wedding Kelli + Bhavik

Kelli + Bhavik’s Bridgeport Art Center wedding day was a day of celebration for sure!

The day started with a traditional Indian ceremony at Jain Metropolitan Society. While Kelli was getting her wedding sari, Bhavik was riding up to the temple on a white horse for the Baraat.  Family members and guests celebrated with him as he made his way to the temple.

Kelli + Bhavik met ten years ago and have been together ever since. Getting to their wedding day was a long road, but ultimately an amazing celebration of two people so clearly in love. Throughout the day, Kelli + Bhavik shared little glances between them. It was obvious what they mean to each other.

After the Baraat, Kelli’s family greeted Bhavik and brought him to the alter. While Bhavik was hidden behind a white cloth, Kelli walked down the aisle with her Dad. Bhavik teared up when he saw his beautiful bride decked out in her red wedding sari. Throughout the Indian ceremony, Bhavik + Kelli enjoyed some playful competition. She was the first one to sit down after the Mangal Phere, so it’s Kelli that wears the pants in the family!

Once they were officially married, it was on to the next celebration. At a downtown hotel, Kelli changed from her colorful Indian dress to her white wedding dress. Kelli + Bhavik had a first look along the Chicago River Walk surrounded by their large wedding party.

Their Bridgeport Art Center wedding was filled with love, laughs and some tears. During the ceremony, Kelli’s artist sister presented an amazing painting of their late mother. Needless to say, this was a very emotional and wonderful moment for Kelli.

After two wedding ceremonies, it was definitely time to party! Kelli + Bhavik have such fun outgoing personalities and made sure their entrance was high energy. Bhavik’s cousins assigned themselves the role of emcees for the evening and rocked it!

Now the happy couple are getting ready for their next adventure in North Carolina where Bhavik will start his fellowship. Congrats to an amazing couple!
