Jenna + Brian planned their Galleria Marchetti wedding for one heck of a party weekend! It was a gorgeous cinco de mayo day and also the Kentucky Derby. We had to take a quick 5 minute break from taking photos so the bridal party could gather around a cell phone to watch the race.
“Even though they knew each other since before they could tie their own shoes, Brian knew he wanted to marry Jenna on their first date in Chicago.”
Jenna + Brian’s parents have been good friends for years. Their moms joked that someday the two of them would get married. After Jenna + Brian graduated from college, their moms decided it was time to play matchmaker. Jenna’s mom has given hope to all eager moms out there hoping to find their daughters a nice handsome man to marry.
While it was love at first meeting for Brian, Jenna tells a slightly different story. Jenna had just recently moved to Chicago. Brian and his buddies would take the girls out to show them around Chicago. While she thought he was a nice guy, one night there was a spark.
Elegant, sweet and fun are the words to describe their Galleria Marchetti wedding! Brian had fun with his groomsmen at their Streeterville condo while Jenna got ready with her bridesmaids at the Renaissance Hotel. The decided on a traditional first look with Brian seeing his beautiful bride for the first time walking down the aisle at DePaul Cathedral. Jenna looked stunning in her classic sheath wedding dress and cathedral veil. During the ceremony, Jenna + Brian exchanged sweet glances.
After they exchanged their I do’s, it was time to party on the trolley! Because Jenna + Brian have so many friends, their large bridal party lots of fun. After photos at North Avenue Beach and Lincoln Park, it was time to start the celebration for their Galleria Marchetti wedding!
