Madison + Dane planned their Hurstbourne Country Club wedding in their home state of Kentucky. They went on their first date when they were both new to Chicago. A mutual friend thought that they might hit it off and there was an instant connection.
It was a hot sunny day in Kentucky and the excitement was high. Madison’s mom had crafted the wooden pews that adorned the ceremony spot and spent the morning lining them with flowers. With the ceremony site ready for a fairy tale romance, all that was needed was for the bride + groom to get ready. Madison chose an incredible beaded Provonias dress and matching veil. She looked stunning in her dress and brought tears to her dad’s eyes when he saw her for the first time.
Since the couple wanted an elegant folk feel to their ceremony, a dulcimer musician played as the bridal party walked down the aisle. What fairy tale is complete without a horse drawn carriage? Madison and her Dad arrived to the ceremony on a white horse. Their good friend officiated the ceremony. He made sure that the ceremony was religious and intimate with stories about the couple.
After Madison + Dane were officially hitched, it was time to party! Guests were treated to a buffet of southern favorites like fried chicken and biscuits. Then it was time to dance the night away! All the guests, including Dane’s 93 year old grandmother got down on the dance floor.
