Navy Pier Engagement Amanda + Justin

Amanda + Justin had to bring their adorable pup Cooper for their Navy Pier engagement shoot at Olive Park. Cooper was so well behaved!

Navy Pier is a very special place to them because that is where Justin popped the question to his beautiful fiancé. Because Justin’s grandfather was in the Navy, his grandparents were married at Navy Pier many years ago. Justin wanted to propose to Amanda at Navy Pier since it had such special meaning to him. Since they are planning their wedding out east, they wanted their Navy Pier engagement in Chicago.

They met at a concert with mutual friends. She was living in Pennsylvania and he was in New Jersey. They hit it off and became friends, but figured that would be it since they lived in different states. When they happened to meet up again through friends, Justin didn’t want to let the opportunity get away again. 

Amanda + Justin were naturals in front of the camera. I’m guessing it’s because of Justin’s experience as a Sears catalog model when he was younger 🙂
